Drew Desky, Principal Consultant, has 10 years of executive search and recruiting experience as Managing Partner of Rand Thompson Consultants. Prior to Rand Thompson, Drew had a successful career in investment banking, corporate banking, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, credit analysis, and insurance. Drew has been a senior banker at Citi responsible for business development and relationship management in Financial Institutions; Vice President at Assurant (formerly Fortis), where he managed Mergers and Acquisitions, rating agency relations, and risk and capital management, as well as acting as Investment Liaison for Assurant Asset Management; a lead analyst at Standard and Poor’s; and Global Division Credit Officer for the Securities and Insurance Industries at Bank of New York. Drew graduated from Dartmouth College.
David Burch, Director of Recruiting, is a seasoned recruiter with over 8 years of experience advising and placing candidates within professional service firms across various industries. His core competencies include permanent placement, executive search, and contract staffing in the areas of technology, human resources, and administration. Through his consultative approach to recruitment, he has found success in cultivating trusting relationships geared toward matching candidates with opportunity based on skill as well as aspiration. He possesses a B.A. from Cornell University.
Sarah Nowak, Office Administrator, has had an eclectic career working as an administrator and AP/AR clerk in architecture, education, finance and the fine arts. She is also a working comedian and actor who has performed all over New York City.
Clayton Howe, Associate, comes from a diverse and extensive background in business. Most recently, Clay worked as Manager of Business Development for Engineered Services Inc. During this time, he oversaw the growth of two companies throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Clay’s extensive interpersonal skills have been honed through his podcast “Entertainmentx” where he gets to the heart, soul and drive of top performers in the entertainment industry and shares the power of their stories and narrative. Clay believes in genuine human connection and the power of kindness. Consequently, he loves to meet and connect like-minded humans. Clay graduated from SUNY Fredonia.
